Trinity padded out of her den, stopping to stretch her front paws out. Her rump raised into the air as she stretched out her spine. It felt amazing. However, she had some matters to attend to. Quickly she got back to all four paws being level and padded into the center of camp, searching for her friend. "Mikah?" the she-wolf called out.
It had been far too long since they'd been able to catch up with each other. Plus, it was always good to talk about the pack. See how patrols were going and how training was going. That was generally the second-in-commands area of expertise. The Alphas didn't really organize much...well, unless you including the random training and games her and her mate did. Plus, she liked to think of new things to do so the wolves in her pack didn't get bored.

His ears twitched lazily as he sat in the snow, looking over the border of the Nightfall pack land. He couldn't see anything out of order thus far, however he did spot a rabbit earlier that he tracked for a short amount of time out of boredom. The poor thing was right in front of him and didn't even notice the wolf was there. Mikah could've easily killed it, but he didn't feel particularly hungry for anything, much less rabbit meat. Mikah let out a short sigh as he glanced back over his shoulder. Then, he heard his alpha calling. He blinked his duo-colored eyes, perked up his ears, and when he was sure that he wasn't delusional, he climbed to his paws and trotted off to investigate.
Mikah strode into the pack area once again and smiled lightly at the she-wolf. "Good morning, Trinity." He dipped his head respectfully in a small greeting as he approached her and contently sat in front of her. "Everything alright?" He asked and he glanced around. Everything seemed to be in order. It wasn't that he'd heard any dismay in her voice, but Mikah would rather be safe than sorry. His eyes drifted back to her and he let his guard down a bit, shifting his paws and getting comfy.
(OOC: Sorry, I was busy yesterday and couldn't respond. cx)

Trinity waited patiently for her friend to hear the call and answer. Mikah strode over calmly toward her, greeting her before asking if everything was alright. Had they strayed so far apart that her only reason for wanting to speak to him was problems in the pack? "Good morning. Everything is fine, as far as I'm aware of."
There, of course, was the issue of the pack seeming a bit stale. They didn't seem to be doing much, after all. The air seemed calm. No wars were brewing and everybody was relaxing. "I just wanted to speak with you, how are you doing lately?" Trinity inquired softly. The russet female felt anxious, desperate to do something.

Mikah had thought just as much. Things in the pack life had been so lazy as of late... He almost felt like it was a sort of omen. The quiet always comes before the storm. But he always tried to brush those thoughts away, telling himself that things were fine and that nothing would be a problem. Mikah smiled at his alpha, feeling a little foolish for thinking something was wrong. "Ah, well, I've been fine myself... Perhaps a little bored." He admitted to her with a small chuckle and a slight wave of his tail. Come to think of it actually, things were very boring. He was even, perhaps, a little lonely as well. He shrugged that thought away too.
"The borders seem quiet, and the training of the rookies has gone well enough with Paradox and his random sessions." He said playfully, casting a casual glance to the side as he heard a pile of snow falling off of a branch. His ear flicked a bit. He didn't know whether he should tell Trinity of the odd feeling that he felt; the feeling that something was going to happen. Maybe, just maybe, she could already sense it. Especially with his urgency to know if anything was wrong.
He let out a short huff of air through his nose.
