March Gathering

This is a gathering for all the packs to join in! Remember violence is prohibited!

Bryn sniffed the air, one of her paws lifted off the ground. With her muscles tensed she glanced from one direction to another. Strange. Was Black River there first for once? "Follow me!" She growled to her pack, walking forward into the large open area where one old oak could be seen in the silverly moons light.

Zane paced back and forth in the cover of the woods, waiting for his leaders signal to go down and join the others.

River gave a happy bark as she raced around in a circle, waiting for her alpha.

The Nightfall Healer stepped out of the bushes and into the clearing, turning every once and awhile to glance back at his pack, watching them come slowly through the forests. Conane sniffed the air briefly and trotted forwards, his weirdly multi-coloured pelt taking off the reflection's of moonlight into his light green eyes. he thought about howling for his pack, and to tell them to hurry up, but then he remembered that him himself had been out earlier looking for herbs and such to stock up in his den, so he was ahead of everybody else by about fifteen minutes, walking pace. Pacing slowly around, the large male sat down on his haunches and shook out his pelt, waiting for his pack to finally arrive.

^{Shiloh followed in behind Bryn slowly, tail swishing as she took a seat not far off. The mixbreed would dip her head slowly, not wanting to take on the gazes of the many others that despised her bloodline. She guessed the only reason they never lunged for her was because it was a gathering, and she was a healer. Snorting slightly the patched fae would twitch her ears.}

Paradox nodded to go into te clearing, his small paws slowly making there way there. There was no need to rush. He could tell only the Black River Pack had arrived. So they were second at arriving. It just meant they wouldn't be alone.

Jacael followed shortly after Bryn. He was glad to finally be at the gathering, he found it hard to walk a long way after the scouting he had done earlier.

[Celina.]

The white and gold Nightfall Second-in-Command appeared out of the same brush as Conane a minute or so after the large brute, shaking some snow off of his coat and looking around with his brown and blue eyes. It felt like it had been forever since the last pack meeting, and to tell the truth, he wasn't necessarily looking forward to it. He hoped it would go well. He stepped forward into the silver light of the moon, looking up at the starry sky for a long moment as he let out a breath. His breath fogged up in front of him as he blinked at the stars, ears perked up. He stepped forward again, slowly taking his gaze off of the moon, and looked at the wolves slowly gathering, his paws crunching in the layer of snow. "Here we go..." He murmured to himself, wondering where the rest of his pack was, other than a few that were already here.

A certain bubbly, giggly rookie trotted in the snow, not really enjoying the cold or the snow itself but excited for the meeting. Kenadi had never been to one before, but she had heard talk. She bounced ahead through a patch of brush, the small twigs pulling at her fur as she tugged her way through it into a clearing where the rest of the wolves were gathering. She glanced around for a fellow Black River member, seeing Bryn and Jacael. She smiled and she quickly bounded up to them, falling once in a patch of deep snow but quickly wriggling out of it. "Hi- h-hi Bryn! Jacael!" Kenadi woofed at them and she wiggled a bit, panting.

Raven was a little bit behind bryn and shiloh as he walked into the clearing he saw that there were quite a few wolves there already as he walked up to bryn and shiloh he saw a rookie standing there next to them so he stood a bit back from them and layed down to watch the other wolves start to come out of the wood works and start showing up to the gathering.

Sacha took the lead and tread through the snow ahead of his pack. His ears were perked as he listened intently, his orbs focused and his mind cautious as he scanned the area for any predators of the night. He had a run in with a bear many moons ago on his way to the Great Oak but a wolf, no matter how strong or brave, was no match for a grizzly. He stopped when he smelled something in the air, the others must be close by. He waited patiently for his pack mates to catch up before he got any farther from them. The Great Oak's massive branches could be seen on the horizon, they were almost there.

"Where are the others." Bryn growled to no one in particular.

Trinity padded up beside her mate, flicking her tail as she joined the area where the Alphas usually stood. Gatherings weren't her favorite thing in the world. They always seemed to lead to anger and agitation, feeling she generally tried to avoid. After all, she was a rather chipper individual. "Greetings," she called out, though doubted anybody would care to answer her.

Shade sat at the edge of the group. He liked gatherings, because he got to hear stuff first, but disliked gatherings because he hated big groups.

[Celina.]

Hearing his alpha's voice, Mikah's ears pricked and he raised his head to look for the russet wolf, smiling when he found her beside Paradox. He gave an encouraging dip of the head and then silently strode closer to where she and Paradox were, sitting quietly to the side and looking on the other wolves as well with his duo-colored eyes. Many of them seemed to have mixed feelings about the place.

Kenadi's bright teal eyes had looked up at the russet-colored wolf, wondering slightly who she was talking to. She glanced around and when no one in particular had answered, the Black River rookie beamed up at the Nightfall alpha and woofed a happy, "Hello!"

Zane growled, baring his teeth at the Black River rookie, his muscles rippling as he moved to somewhat guard his alpha. "Back off pipsqueak." he barked, snapping his teeth towards her scruff.

Conane watched as his pack-mates arrived and he smiled genuinely at every one of them, a bright, cheery smile. Sure, gatherings weren't his favourite things in the world, but that didn't mean that he couldn't turn it into a fun time, at least until the meeting start, and then all would go silent. Ears pricked as he heard Zane snap at the 'pipsqueak' that said hi to their leader, Conane's ears went flat on his head and he gave out the smallest whine, standing up, posture strong and tall.

[Celina.]

The young rookie blinked and shied away from Zane's wrath, looking up at him with wide eyes. This move of aggression confused her. All she did was say hello, was this a bad thing? She hopped away and hid behind a couple of her older Black River members, ears flat and body low to the ground.

Mikah took notice of this incident. The fur on the back of his scruff bristled slightly as he watched Zane, his body tensing up a bit. That was a wrong move, and almost everyone in every pack knew that...

Shiki followed closely behind Sacha. His ears pricked up everytime someone in his pack stepped on a branch. He looked behind himself every once in a while, to make sure no one out of the Moonfire pack was following them and if anyone had fallen. It seemed so far, only two or three younger wolves had been clumsy enough to trip. Slightly approvingly, Shiki nodded to the rest of his pack and turned his head back around. With his head turned back to where the pack was heading, he could see the top branches of the Great Oak.

Shiki began to think back to being second in command. Being second in command, Shiki always tried to make sure everything was going smoothly. Checking around himself again, he noticed a small night owl starring at him. Sitting on a branch, it seemed completely terrified of the Moonfire wolves.

Confident that both he and Shiki had cleared the path free from danger, he knew his pack mates would follow up. The Alpha entered the meeting grounds and pawed up to the base of the Oak. He noted the other wolves who had already started to congregate, it was a small group but there was still time before things got started. He could sense some tension in the air as he approached the group. Violence was prohibited at gatherings but if it escalated he wouldn't have a problem with intervening. Without further a do, he took his place among the other Alphas, greeting them as he took a seat, "Good evening."

[Kiba Blood]

Bryn shot a glare at Zane, her teeth baring slightly before giving the Rookie a small knudge. "It is kinda unwise to go directly speak to another alpha of a rival pack without permission. It may seem disrespectful or even threatening. Stick close to your own pack, alright?" She said

<sup>Shiloh would watch the commotion with flattened ears. Snorting the healer would stand to her paws and pad forwards, tail low and yellow orbs bearing at Zane in a mute, but angered fashion. Huffing softly, the patched fae would turn her gaze to the pup and shake her head.

Adoette would grin slightly. Already tensing up? But the gathering had just began! No matter.. Strolling forwards, the massive black leviathan would take a step beside his alpha, head lowering so that he could stare down upon the much smaller wolves.
"It would be best to not try and harm the pups.. Pipsqueak." the older male would rumble with a quirked brow.</sup>

"You handle your own Pack mates, I'll handle mine." Paradox growled in a low tone to Bryn so nobody else would hear. He hated when other Alphas thought they were in charge of his Pack. Although he did feel Zane could have been a little lighter. The pup was just responding to his mate. He would have a talk about that to Zane later, after the gathering.

Jacael was furious at Zane. Did the wolf even hear his Alpha female saying hello. The poor pup. He was a fighter, it was his thing, and although it was forbidden he felt like leaping on top of the wolf right now and tearing him to prices. But he kept it in, at least he could keep it in.

[Kiba Blood]

"I was. I never spoke a word to your.. Wolf. Get your hearing checked."

With a toss of her head she moved until she was at the front of all the packs. "We are starting, and Black River shall go first. Everyone!" She barked. "Nightfall have been stealing prey from our territory!"

Zane shot to his paws, snarling indefiance as the accusation was made. "You lie!" He shouted.
