March Gathering [Open!]

Shiloh would sigh softly, head lowering as she stood and backed away from the crowd. She didn't want apart of this, she just wanted to go back home, and mope around in her den.

Adoette would grin as he stood up and woofed in agreement. "I saw a pair drag off a doe two or so days ago." the large black male would comment sheepishly, devilish grin growing more so upon his muzzle.

The alpha female of the Moonfire Pack came in. Her eyes glowing with hatred for the other packs. They were not the wolves she wanted to spend her night with. Well, no wolf was the one she wanted to spend her days with really. Honestly, they were all like her bad puns. The fowl taste came over her body as she shook it from her body. Still it lingered, but the female had to ignore it.

"What the f**k are you arguing about now," she growled as she rolled her eyes.

The Ethiopian wolf's redish fur made her stand out. It was like a flashing red and blue light that those humans had on their cars.

River passed beside her alpha, eyes wide in wonder. "Ma'am" she whispered softly. "Do we have to be hear."

"Bryn, I assure you we have not been stealing prey from the territory." Paradox began. Where on earth was she going with this? Attempt to raid, or was she trying to get something. Paradox would not let his pack go down like this, especially from a lie.

Jacael wasn't ready for this. He excpected to come to just hear news, not accusations. Jacael slowly inched towards the way out of this place. He didn't want to get involved, he wanted to leave.

Mikah felt a sinking feeling in his chest, and he knew that this was not going to be a happy meeting. He tightened his muscles but he refused to move as he sat, not seeing any reason to be involved yet. He watched the group with tense eyes, stealing a quick glance to his alphas and his fellow Nightfall members. He knew that violence during a gathering was prohibited, however sometimes that did not stop certain packmates... His eyes flickered to Zane and he remembered the poor little rookie who was now hiding betwixt the pelts of the Black River pack. Mikah remained silent, however, and rigid.

Bryn snarled, leaping to her paws as the fur along her spine bristled. "Are you calling me a liar!" She hissed, her teeth bared in fury. "I have smelled your stench across our borders!"

Of course, with his nonchalent attitude and everything, he replied, "I believe very well that I am calling you a lair." Paradox would not be the one to anger people by starting a fight here, Bryn was the one getting all worked up. He still sat there, not standing up. Not because of fear, just because. frankly, he didn't care about Bryn. She coud have walked into a fox trap, and he'd still be cleaning his paws sitting there.

"Guys, stop it." Jacael began towards both Alphas. He had the right to be getting a little mouthy when a fight was going to start. "You guys are acting like pups."

Demblem hurried towards the gathered groups. He was limping and he was late. He had stepped into a fox trap that morning and had injured his right forepaw, luckily nothing had been broken. His paw was now wrapped up but it was still painful to him. "Sorry I'm late...ah what is going on?" he asked noticing the hostilities.

Jacael noticed as Demblem padded up, he was okay with the second-in-command being late, he respected the wolf. "Too much." He murmured quietly so nobody else could hear him.

Sacha listened to the alphas accusations silently. The growing hostility between them wasn't helping the situation in the least. He needed to step in, "Maybe there are a few select wolves who aren't familiar with the boundaries of the territories," he paused hoping to gain the attention of the feuding wolves, "Might I suggest informing each member of your pack where your territory ends, perhaps this will prevent further trespassing." Sacha was aware that the situation didn't involve him or his pack but he couldn't just sit there and do nothing.

Turning to River, she nodded.

"Yes," the wolf said calmly, "You have to listen. This is the Gathering afterall."

Turning to Sacha as he spoke, the dame didn't really like him. Sure, he was alpha male and she was alpha female. For her, that didn't matter. She was more concerned about how her pack was run. Sacha was speaking up and she wasn't. Did that show the other packs that she was weak. Growling and rolling her eyes, she stood up.

"No," she said, "What we need is more defined territory markers and we need to make sure we have all of our wolves on patrols. Defining our territories is more important at this point. Just by informing them will have them want to skip the border and run into another territory which would cause war! What we need is scent markers and marking the territories! If we have those patrols of wolves, less wolves can get into the territories to steal our prey. I am willing to put the Moonfire Pack to the test."
