By the old oak

Rorupan walked quietly at the edge of the gathering place. She sniffed the air and felt the breeze through her fur. She shivered a little and started walking again. Rorupan longed for someone to actually like her, but she knew to do that, she had to be Alpha female of a pack. Yet she dreamed of this. Rorupan always wanted her own family, but she still just wanted a friend. Rorupan stopped and went to lay down. She tucked her nose in her tail and just laid there.

Lochi returne to his favorite spot next to the old oak with a rabbit clamped in his jaws. He had decided to stay away from the oak tree because of the raven. His eyes came to lay on another loner, a wolf. It struck him as odd that there was actually another wolf around here. He liked company. "Hi there." He began. "A-Are you hungry?"

Rorupan was tranced by the blue sky, but was suddenly jumped by another wolves voice, "Wha-!!" She hid in a bush and kept her eye on the other loner, "W-who are you? And yea I'm pretty hungry..." Rorupan snuck her head and and sniffed the air, "Are you going to hurt me?"

"No, no." Lochi replied. "I wish no harm." Lochi hated fighting, besides, he could never harm a she-wolf in need. "Here, take this." He dropped the rabbit at her feet, bringing her some of his nest, mostly the feathers to keep her warm. He had a stock pile full of stuff for the winter, he always had to be prepared.

Rorupan cocked her head and looked at the male wolf. Usually all the males she met were dominate, "Thank you so much!" Rorupan sniffed at the rabbit and bit into it. She hadn't had a meal in so long. If it wasn't for her fluffyness you could probably see her ribs. Rorupan went to the other wolf and nudged him, "Thank you again. Also what's your name?"

"Lochi." Came his rely as he dipped his head. "And you are?"

"Rorupan. But you can call me bun if you like.~" Rorupan smiled and nudged the male wolf again, "I like your name."
