Stalking her like prey was his mission, snapping her neck in two was his goal. He would find her and he would kill her. In the end of the game Cat and Mouse, Mouse always died. He'd tease her a bit, let the chain lose and then when she thought she was safe? He'd snap it back and she'd howl in pain and agony. Saliva dripped from his jaws down to the ground beneath his paws as his heart raced with anticipation, blood flowing quickly away from his heart and vital organs as the feeling rushed quickly through him. She was near, she had to be - he could almost feel her.

Nose quickly buried beneath the snow, he snorted and pulled back in disgrace. How dare she trick him! How could he have fallen for such a nasty surprise like that? Klaus glared around, his nostrils flaring with madness. Where in the world could his precious mate be? His eyes narrowed into slits as he tried to focus on his surroundings before anger overcame him and he lost his barrings.

It didn't process inside Klaus' mind that he was on unwelcome territory. He had not come into a Packs land in many moons, since chasing his beloved Celestial. "Celestial! Show yourself!" He snarled before letting out a loud yet mournful howl for his lost mate. It would be the last time she ran away and the last time she made a mockery of him. Never again, no he wouldn't let it happen because he planned to murder her! Only if he didn't get himself murdered first that was. Being on a packs turf meant he was bound to be caught. The question was when?

"Intruder!"

That was the first thing that left River's maw when her golden eyes lied on the large male wolf. "Intruder Intruder!" She squawked . Her orange and black pelt was hidden among the tall grass and the fox glared from her hiding space at the strange wolf. Slowly she slid around him, changing position again and again until her scent literally surrounded him. Then with a growl her paws carried her swiftly out, where she attempted to give Klaus a quick nip to the tail, before instantly dissapearing back into the flowing grass, ears pinned to her head.

Oh! For crying out loud! There just had to be some annoying little pup squawking and making him noticed. That was just what he needed. Although suddenly the scent of fox wafted into his nostrils and surrounded him. An ambush? No, it couldn't have been. There was no way he was being hunted by a pack of idiotic foxes was there? Klaus circled around, watching his back before a loud yelp raced through his lungs and came out. He whipped around and pulled his tail from the fierce grip the fox had on it. "You filthy vermin!" He growled out, lunging for the fox.

"How dare you touch my tail!" Klaus was blind with fury now, his attacks were bound to be sloppy and his footing messy. He couldn't control himself when he was overwhelmed with anger. This fox had tipped him over the edge, it didn't take much when he was already angry with Celestia. "Give me back my mate and I'll gladly be on my way!" He hated fox anyway, they were food and that was that. "Don't bite my tail again or I'll eat you!" Ah yes, the wolf eating the fox trick in an attempt to scare her.

"You cant eat what you cant catch!" She taunted, bounding in a circle around him, moving easily through the grass. "Your to big! And fat!"

River let out a another growl and stopped moving many tail lengths away, facing the wolf off. "Lets play a game, It's call catch the fox!"

Noticing her companion River, the female rushed over to see what had been going on. Suddenly, she noticed the loner coming onto her territory. Snarling, the alpha female came over to this stranger. Her "pearly whites" were barred and her fur was slightly elevated. Like flames, they danced as she moved towards this new character.

"Who are you and what are you doing on my territory," the alpha female snarled.

Really, she didn't care who he was. Rather she was more concerned with what the h*ll he was doing on her territory.

[Megan]

Now this pipsqueak was annoying him to high heavens! "Foolish fox I don't play games!" He roared out, lashing paws out to trip her or scrape her. Even the slightest catch of fur would excite him beyond compare. With each twirl she made, he completed a circle, slightly dizzy as he tried to keep his eyes on her. "I'm a wolf, wolves eat foxes and you're going to die!" Funny how he had already been playing his own little game when this fox decided to taunt him into another game. What did she think she was doing anyway?

When she called him names, he let out a howl - no doubt attracting other wolves nearby. "I'm not fat!" He snarled, racing towards her from where he stood. The world spun ever so slightly as he tried to keep his vision upright and focused. "Now, tell me where Celestial is or I'll rip your throat out and kill you ever so slowly." His stomach rumbled as he said that. He was hungry to rip his canines into fresh, warm meat.

Without his noticing, a second wolf appeared and his attention turned to her almost immediately. "Where is she? Where is Celestial." He demanded to know. He could see he had been confronted by the Alpha Female of whatever pack he was in, not that he cared. She had better give him what he came for. "Give me the stupid she-wolf and I won't come back." Of course she probably had no idea who he was talking about but Klaus wasn't brilliant when he was angry. He was more stupid than when he was calm and rational.

"We dont have a wolf by that name!" River barked, her fur bristling. "And be more respectful to my Alpha you big meany!"

"Like River said," the female growled, "we have no female by that name. Now, I suggest you take your search elsewhere. Unless you want a fight. Then by the high heavens, I will give you that fight."

[Megan]

Klaus was beyond hysteric now as these females claimed they did not have a female by the name of Celestial. Although Klaus knew better, he knew females were liars and that they used males to produce offspring or fight their battles. "I'll kill you!" He snarled to the Alpha Female. "Don't think I won't do it, you females are nothing but lying, back stabbing b******!" Perhaps he was taking it too far but he could not see past the blinding red in front of him.

How could he know that Celestial wasn't here? Even though all signs pointed in that direction, he had known he had been tricked but now two new females had entered into his game and he had to remove them before his hunt of cat and mouse could return. "Prove it to me." He growled calmly, barring his teeth to her. "Take me to your pitied camp!" Klaus demanded of them.

"I do not have all day, and you are clearly wasting my time, do you understand that?" Oh Klaus, he had grown up unprivileged and in a demented state of mind thanks to his parents. Not even Klaus knew if he could be salvaged.

"You will not speak to me that way," the alpha said with a harsh tone, "Now show me respect, then I might reconsider. Right now, I have half the mind to rip you into shreds. However, I take pity on your soul. You've been hurt and now you are so demented that you don't understand how idiotic you sound."

The female's golden-amber eyes watched him with a sort of look that showed her pity for the fool. The stud had been so hurt by this...what was her name...Celestia. Whoever that was....

Did Lux even know a female by that name? From all of her memories, she had never heard of this Celestia. Klaus was delusional and Lux couldn't bear to see another wolf that way. Had he contracted the disease all creatures feared? No. He had no foam coming from his lips and didn't have that much of a crazed look to him.

The red female still held her black tipped tail high in the air. She was showing her position in the pack. This was, for the most part, her pack. The Ethopian wolf would not stand to have this wolf in her territory, even if she did feel bad for him.

"You will not come to our camp unless you want me to slit your throat open," she said with a snarl.

As the threat was made the fox stepped up beside her leader snarling with bared teeth. "Get off our territory!"

[Megan]

Klaus was completely delusional as he spun around slowly, in both the females he could only see Celestial. The stupid she-wolf that had drove him mad and straight into insanity. There was likely no coming back for Klaus, how could he be salvaged with not even half a mind that wasn't tainted with darkness ? The male wolf glared at the Alpha again and at the fox.

"Show me! You have to show me!" He demanded, although his huffs came out as a pleading, he was a sitting duck. And if they wanted to they could attack him. Klaus would not be able to respond to any attacks. He was far too gone and insane to see what was about to happen to him.

The male's pupils widened with slight fear, he couldn't die. Not until his mission was completed, that was all that mattered in the end. Find Celestial, get her back - leave. In that order. "Damn it! Female, let me see!" He whined out, shaking a bit.

"No," she growled, "NO! You will not step one more paw into this territory! If you do, I will take pleasure in ripping your throat open and watching the life leave your body! Now, leave or die!"

She moved closer to the wolf and snarled a much deeper snarl this time. Her eyes were almost demonic this time. This wolf before her had no respect for the alpha female and it was time for him to pay the price. If he was not going to show the b**ch the respect she deserved, then he would die.

That was her final ruling and that was the way it was going to be. She would not let this a**hole just tell her what to do. She, considering loners were 'omega' types, was a higher rank. Much higher for that matter.

"I will not say it again," the female stated.

Klaus's eyes widened and the male collapsed to the ground, tail between his legs in utter fear. He didn't have anywhere to go and he knew that Celestial had to be close! She had to be. "Please, I beg of you." He gulped, bile running down his throat. Never had he had to cower to a female before but Klaus was as good as dead anyway. "I . . . I need to-" Klaus didn't finish his sentence, what did he need to see? That she wasn't in their camp like they had sad? That he could trust a female? To see if he was missing out on what there was to see?

Death was probably the one thing that Klaus feared more than females. He didn't know what was going to happen to him or what happened to those that past before him. He didn't believe too heavily in any religion but the constant thought that they existed scared the living hell out of him. What if it did exist and he was punished by burning for a thousand years? Or worse . . . what if they turned him into a female to see what horrible destruction and cruelty he had caused to them? Klaus couldn't bare to be witness to such an act. The one that worried him was also mercy. He had no clue how anyone could spare him mercy and not punish him til death due him part.

With a small movement, for fear he would like like he was about to attack, Klaus bared his belly. The ultimate sign that another was in power. He gulped and closed his eyes, letting out small whimpers. She couldn't . . . wouldn't kill him, would she?

The female's golden eyes showed no mercy in them. For this time, the stud wasn't being a good type of wolf. This was the day she would rip him to shreds if he took one step out of line, which was not the case. He showed that this alpha female was in power and that he submitted to that. Snorting, the female stood taller for that moment. Standing still and looking down at the powerless male, she smirked.

"Now," she said, "Explain to me this...Celestia character. Maybe I can tell you whether or not she truly is not on our territory. I've never heard the name or seen a creature so driven to find this type of thing before."

Honestly, she hadn't heard of such nonsense or witnessed it. Until now.

What felt like years had gone by was truly only a few spare minutes. His eyes clenched tightly shut, just waiting for his death strike by the Alpha Female. Shaking like a coward, the male wolf finally bared to open a single eye to see her smirking at him. He bit back a growl because Klaus knew he was in position to fight, especially with his belly unprotected. She could easily slash him open and leave him to die alone out here.

"Celestial." He choked out, glancing away from her. He was still on the ground, back to the ground and he hated it. "She's my mate!" Who wouldn't do anything for love? Well . . . in Klaus' case it was lust. He didn't truly love Celestial, she just drove him so crazy and mad all the time. "She took off and she's going to have my pups!" Surely that would convince her to help him, especially when it just so happened to be the truth. "She's around here somewhere . . . she'd have taken shelter here I know it!"

"You . . . you wouldn't understand why it is so urgent I find her." He muttered quietly. Nobody would. Hell, Klaus didn't know half the time why he kept this up. He was insane and confused and lost. Often times he didn't know where he was. "But . . . I have to find her." He hoped she didn't take his words for dedication or devotion. No, Klaus wasn't the type to fall in love and be loyal or devoted to any female. They had done him wrong, or had he done them wrong? Either way, it didn't matter at the moment. "Please . . ."

"We have no pregnant females on our territory," she said, "From the last few moons, no female has been pregnant. Not that I am aware of. Perhaps you need to find another place to find this...Celestial or whatever her name is. You can rest here for the night, on our territory, but you must not try anything funny. Come on. Let's get you settle."

The female nodded and looked at River.

"Help me escort this wolf to our territory," the wolf said with a stern tone.

River nodded, her eyes glinting. "yes ma'am!"

[Megan]

"My name is Klaus." He muttered quietly. He couldn't believe she was actually going to allow him to visit her packs camp. Although now Klaus was having second thoughts about it. What if it was a trick and they were going to murder him or worse hold him hostage? Packs could be cruel and Klaus had vowed never to step another paw step inside of one - yet here he was.

Klaus didn't move though, not because of the thought in the back of his mind that they might be tricking him but because he was in pure shock. "You're . . . not going to kill me?" The male wolf woofed in curiosity. Which led to his next, most stupidest question, "why?!" Klaus would have killed anyone if they had acted like he had to them. And it was mind boggling to him that he just couldn't figure it out.
