The High Positions
Alpha Male.
Leader of the pack. Their word is law and must be commanded at all cost. They have the power to exile and kill off any members they see as a disgrace/weakness to the pack.
Alpha Female.
Mate to the Alpha Male. She is the only one allowed to breed unless she has given permission to another female of the pack. Her word is to be obeyed at all times and if she feels threatened, has the ability to run a member out of the pack. All un-permitted litters will be killed.
Second-In-Command.
A deputy of sorts. They create border/hunting patrols and are to be obeyed. A wolf may go against his/her word if and only if they feel it to be unjust. If so that pack-mate is to take it up with an Alpha.
Healer.
This wolf cares for the injured and sick of the pack. They have learned the way of medicine and herbs and are able to talk with the pack ancestors through dreams and signs.
Healer-In-Training.
A pup 5 moons or older whom is training to be the next Healer of the pack.
The Normal Positions
Hunters.
These are pack members whose body was built for speed. They hunt for the pack and are sometimes used to scout an enemies territory.
Fighters.
These are pack members whose body was built for strength. They are the first line of defense and patrol the territory.
Rookies.
These are pups in training ages 5 moons and up. As they grow and show more interest in either hunting or fighting they will be paired with a mentor whom will show them the basics of pack life.
Mothers.
Females whom have had the blessing of the Alpha Female and are allowed to breed and have pups.
Pups.
These are pack-members whom are 5 moons and under. They are to stay with their mother until they become rookies.
Ancients.
These are the wolves who have lived many years inside the pack and are greatly respected. They continue to participate in Pack Life and may be cast out of the pack if they are seen as "weak" to the Alpha Male.
